Capital Impact is now part of the Momentus Capital family of organizations. Rooted in social mission, we are driven to ensure local leaders have access to the capital and opportunities they deserve. We support locally-led solutions to build healthy, inclusive, and equitable communities through a continuum of lending, impact investments, training programs, and technology programs.

CEED Lending

At CEED Lending, we are a CDFI and an SBA Microlender providing access to capital to small business owners unable to secure traditional funding. Our loans are also partnered with business assistance services, to help stabilize and grow our small business owners.

Chi Ishobak provides Tribal Citizens with access to affordable capital for the purposes of business loans, and individual financial development through collaborative and education-oriented lending services, and to practice responsible lending in order to protect loan capital for future generations of Tribal Citizens.

CORE Community Partners is a non-profit, mission-driven organization, with a focus on assisting communities and partners by providing affordable and flexible capital in the form of cost-effective lending, investing, consulting, and other financial services. CORE’s mission is to support the development and redevelopment of affordable housing and related community economic development throughout the state of Michigan and beyond.

Detroit Development Fund

Founded in 1996, the Detroit Development Fund (DDF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit Certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with a 25+ year mission and history to improve the quality of life in underserved Detroit neighborhoods and for Detroit entrepreneurs and residents. DDF provides small business and micro loans, contractor lines of credit, pre-construction and late-stage predevelopment loans as low as 5K up to 350K. DDF’s loan products provide a much-needed safe alternative to predatory products, with lower interest rates, flexible terms, no prepayment penalties, and ongoing consultation, coaching and technical assistance throughout the life of the loan. The primary fund offerings by DDF include but not limited to include the Entrepreneurs of Color Fund and its DDF Microloan.
