After years of dedication to Human Resources and Talent Development, alongside a culinary education in NYC, J Dutton decided to pursue his dream of turning his hobby into a thriving business in July 2020. J decided to take his passion for confections to the next level.

Establishing BrOn’s Confections as a home-based venture in 2012, J always dreamed of expanding his business. Inspired by his mother, who worked multiple jobs to support their family, J named the business after her, combining elements of both their names.

Despite facing challenges, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the loss of his job working for the Pokagon Government in 2016, J remained determined to pursue his dream of business expansion. With Chi Ishobak’s assistance, J secured the funding needed to purchase commercial equipment and transition BrOn’s Confections into a fully operational business.

Now, with a wide array of delectable treats, including bonbons, barks, bars, and cheesecakes, BrOn’s Confections is available to customers in Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana. J’s dedication, coupled with the support of Chi Ishobak, has transformed his passion into a thriving enterprise. Explore BrOn’s Confections’ offerings by visiting www.bronsconfections.com.
